Interim Executive Director
Rose Talbot
Rose has a long history with the Puppet Co., having first joined the company in 2012 as a performer in The Nutcracker. She has served on both TPC’s Board of Directors and its Artistic Council. Rose has performed at the Little Theatre of Alexandria, 2nd Star Productions in Bowie, MD, and toured with Doc Scantlin's Imperial Palms Orchestra as a featured performer. Rose designed props for the world premiere of James Ijames’ Good Bones at Studio Theatre and for We Happy Few at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. Rose is also a licensed real estate agent in Maryland.
Artistic Director
Danny Pushkin
Danny has been featured in a number of world premieres, including National tour/NYC debut Caps for Sale (ATMTC), Synetic Theater, Resident Artist at Adventure Theater, and relishes opportunities to fool with the Washington Revels. In his other life, Danny directs and produces theater, occasionally serving as a teaching artist for area companies. He has performed extensively in physical theater and children’s theater in the DC area.
Production and Operations Manager
Maggie Rocha
Maggie graduated from American University with a double major in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts. While at AU, her love of theatre grew from onstage to behind-the-scenes, having had opportunities to act, stage manage, and work in lighting. Maggie spent her summers of 2021-2024 working with Wildwood Summer Theatre, the DC area’s oldest youth-run theatre company, as a performer and tenured board member. She has been working at the Puppet Co. since 2021. She hopes to continue TPC’s mission of spreading the joy of puppetry across the DMV as both a staff member and a performer.
