Linda Berg-Cross, Ph.D., ABBP is a board certified clinical psychologist and Professor Emerita from Howard University who focuses on blending science with a poetic curiosity and reverence for the human journey. Her clinical work focuses on our unique strengths and how to make them take center stage. Her scholarship focuses on family resilience and the interplay between sleep and family dynamics. Her work has always embraced the importance of imagination, play, and the expression of our unique cultural voices—making the puppet theater a natural extension of her passion for meaningful expression. She believes that puppetry, like psychology, helps us see ourselves more clearly—one gesture, one archetype, one story at a time. Linda values seeking out eye opening, novel events every day as well as savoring old, forever loves like reading, exercising, travel and spending time with friends.
