About the Artistic Council
The Artistic Council provides artistic oversight and expertise, season planning guidance, and logistical support at the Puppet Co. The Council is made up of a group of artists ("Company Members") who have performed regularly at the Puppet Co since its post-pandemic reopening and was founded in 2025.

Marshall Bailey is a proud puppeteer with the Puppet Co. He also teaches, directs, tours, and performs with companies including Missoula Children's Theatre, Baltimore Shakespeare Factory, Imagination Stage, and the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

Mollie Greenberg (Chair) is a local actor and teaching artist, and half of Jennie the Cat creators Ingrid & Mollie. She teaches regularly with the Keegan Theatre, Imagination Stage, and Wolf Trap Institute.

Ingrid Bork is an actor and educator based in the DMV. She is co-creator of the children's show Jennie the Cat, frequently seen on the Puppet Co stage. She has been delighted to perform in many previous Puppet Co productions.

Lee Gerstenhaber has been performing and designing costumes within the DMV theatre scene for over a decade. As a company member and co-founder of Pointless Theatre, she focuses on highly visual spectacle and movement pieces.

Andrew Quilpa (he/ him) is a Filipino-American actor, writer, and voice over artist who grew up in Hampton Roads, VA and later moved to the DC area to serve as an IT instructor with Americorps. Now, Andrew is a company member of Faction of Fools Theatre Company and serves as the artistic director of The COIL Project.

Cate Ginsberg (she/her) is an actor, choreographer, and teaching artist in the DC area. As a performer Cate has worked at not only at The Puppet Co. but also Imagination Stage, Adventure Theater, NuSass, and Theater Prometheus. She holds a BA in Musical Theatre from American University.

Rose Talbot has recently performed with 2nd Star Productions in Lynn Nottage's Sweat and designed props for the world premiere of James Ijames’ Good Bones at Studio Theatre and for We Happy Few at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. She also has performed at the Little Theatre of Alexandria and toured with Doc Scantlin's Imperial Palms Orchestra as a featured performer. When not on stage, Rose is an instructor at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
