Accessibility & Accommodations

The Puppet Co. offers several performance options so everyone can enjoy the excitement of live puppet theater!

ASL Interpreted Performances

All Mainstage shows have an ASL-interpreted performance. A long-time friend of the Puppet Co. Denise Kight interprets on stage to assist in telling the stories to all audience members.

ASL performance dates are as follows, always at 11:30am:

Peter and the Wolf - March 9th

The Magic of Hans Christian Andersen - April 13th

*Our Annual Nutcracker has no spoken words and will not have an ASL performance*

An old man puppet kneels over a sitting boy puppet

Sensory Friendly

We offer sensory-friendly versions of all of our Mainstage shows. Here’s what sensory-friendly means at the Puppet Co.:

  • Dimmed house lights on for the entire performance

  • Back doors of the theater remain open for easy access to the lobby

  • Lower intensity volume

  • No use of fog or strobe lights

Upcoming Sensory Friendly performances:

Peter and the Wolf: Sunday, February 23rd at 11:30am

This page will continually be updated with the most accurate date information!
