Puppet Consultants
Have a show with a puppet in it? Where do you start figuring out which type of puppet is should be, let alone how to create and operate a puppet?
Avoid injury & damage to puppets by getting an expert!
The Process:
Pre-Production Meeting - Puppet Type, Design & Cost
We’ll review the script and discuss the director’s vision. Then, we’ll provide you with recommendations on which type and design of puppet would work. We can also assist you in making a rehearsal schedule that properly incorporates puppets & prepares your puppeteers!
Rehearsals & Training - Operating a Puppet Properly
We’ll pair you with a puppeteer to train the cast on how to properly operate the puppet so that they don’t get injured or damage it throughout the run. We will assist the director or choreographer in directing the puppetry portion of the show. We’ll also provide warm-ups and exercises to prevent injury and maintain stamina puppeteering during the run!
