• Directions from Capital Beltway (I-495)

    Travelling in either direction, take Exit 39 (River Road) East toward Washington DC. Go to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Goldsboro Rd. Goldsboro Rd. end at MacArthur Blvd. Turn right on MacArthur Blvd. Follow the signs to parking for Glen Echo Park and Clara Barton House, a left turn about 250 feet down MacArthur Blvd.

     

    From the parking lot, take the bridge to the park and follow the path past the Carousel on the right, and the big “POPCORN” sign on the left.. The Puppet Co. Box Office is directly under the “Puppet Co. Playhouse” sign just past the “POPCORN” sign outside the North Arcade Building.

  • Directions From Downtown Washington

    Take Massachusettes Avenue northwest until it ends at Goldsboro Rd. (Rt 614), in Maryland. Turn left onto Goldsboro Rd. and drive to MacArthur Blvd where Goldsboro Rd ends. Turn right on MacArthur Blvd. Follow the signs to parking for Glen Echo Park and Clara Barton House, a left turn about 250 feet down MacArthur Blvd.

  • Alternate Directions from Georgetown

    Take MacArthur Blvd all the way to Glen Echo and follow the signs, or come up Canal Rd and the Clara Barton Parkway and exit at Glen Echo turning left onto MacArthur Blvd and go about 1/2 mile to the signs to the parking area.

FAQ

Puppet Master Christopher Piper just had an emergency appendectomy, and can't do shows this week.  But, as Easter is on its way, Bob Brown is stepping in with a second performance of "Bunny Business" this Saturday at 11:30 AM.  "Hansel and Gretel" returns for its final week this Thursday.
