One of the Puppet Co.'s most lavish and beautiful productions, "Cinderella" is a perennial favorite with Playhouse audiences The show runs April 18 - May 29 and is part of the Puppet Co.'s Silver Jubilee, celebrating 25 years in Glen Echo Park.

Well, it certainly looks like one onstage at the Puppet Co. Playhouse. The Jungle Book is back, after four years, when it opened the then-new theater. In that four year, all the rough spots have been smoothed out and the production is even more spectacular than its original premiere at the Playhouse. If you missed the premiere of the Puppet Co's newest production, don't worry. The lavish production is back, and even better. Gorgeous marionettes and some very impressive special effects make this production a real treat for children five years old and older. There is nothing like live puppet theater to stimulate children's imaginations, and Lewis Carroll's classic story of Alice's adventures underground stimulates and entertains. The White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter and March Hare, the Cheshire Cat, the Griffin and Mock Turtle and many other characters guide Alice through her search for her identity, in a story that will appeal to girls and boys, alike. Summer is funner at the Puppet Co. The dinosaurs are back on the Main Stage. "Dinosaur Rock," the production that made Dinorock Productions famous is full of music and fun facts about Dinosaurs

There will be performances for Spring Break on Wednesday, April 4 @ 10 & 11:30 AM, Thursday April 5 @ 11:30 AM only, and Friday, April 6 @ 10 & 11:30 AM. April 7 & 8 are the last weekend dates for Mozart's "The Magic Flute." Don't miss it, as it doesn't come around as often as some of the shows for the younger kids.
